2026 QATSIF Creative Arts Competition
Our 9th Annual 2026 QATSIF Creative Arts Competition is open again for entries from all Year 7 – 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Queensland schools.
Please don’t limit your creativity based on the sample creative arts list. We would love to see some entries across all areas including metalwork sculpture, wooden design and carving, cake decorating etc.
Griffith University have generously offered to sponsor our competition again. The first three place getters in each year level and category will receive a trophy and certificate. All other entrants will receive a certificate and medallion.
We don’t need your original artwork, but we do need a high-resolution image of any visual artworks. Photos also need to have the artwork centred within, and parallel to, the photo frame so that the image isn’t distorted when reproduced.

QATSIF in partnership with Griffith University is proud to announce the results of our 8th annual Creative Arts Competition. Our competition was open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Queensland secondary schools.
Our 2025 competition received 195 visual arts, dance, music, poetry and story-telling entries from deadly Queensland secondary school artists.
